R-307A Railgear


G & B Specialties Model R-307A Mechanical Railgear is applicable to vehicles up to 11,500 lbs GVWR. The railgear provides the ability to furnish a mechanical application in place of a hydraulic rail gear on standard track gauge applications. Identical front and rear units are standard. Among the features of the R307A are rubber cord torsion bar suspension, mechanical safety locking pins, and guide wheels, which are insulated for electric track signaling. Also included are mounting brackets for the front and rear units, steering wheel lock, built-in derail skids, and wheel modification.
